Milestones in the company's history
1961
Founding of Henschel in Antwerp, Belgium
TELEMONDholding’s history began in 1961 in Antwerp, Belgium: Entrepreneur Henschel Kassel founded the Henschel company, which dealt with the production of aluminum vehicles for the army.
After the dissolution of the Henschel Group, Henschel Engineering NV became part of Thyssen Rheinstahl.
1961
Founding of Henschel Engineering NV
In 1973, Henschel Engineering released the chassis for commercial vehicles to the market.
Since 1982, Henschel Engineering has specialized in maintenance and production of containers, as well as production of components for mobile cranes.
1990
Management buyout
In 1990, Henschel Engineering was bought by CEO Reiner Maas and Ackermans & Van Haaren and became a private investment group.
Start of production in Poland
Since 2000, Henschel Engineering started to moved parts of their production to the location in Kostrzyn.

Founding of TELESKOP SP. z o.o.
TELESKOP Sp. z o.o. was founded in 2002 in Kostrzyn to manufacture steel structures for the mobile crane industry.
2008
Founding of MONTEL SP. z o.o.
MONTEL Sp. z. o.o. was founded in 2008 to produce lattice structures for crawler cranes.
2010
Founding of HENSCHEL ENGINEERING AUTOMOTIVE SP. z o. o.
In 2010, the location in Antwerp was closed and HENSCHEL ENGINEERING AUTOMOTIVE SP. z o. o. was founded in Kostrzyn. The new plant started production of drop-side bodies and 3-way tippers.
Start of production in Szczecin
The production in the halls of the former shipyard started in 2012 to produce steel structures for the offshore industry and container handling systems.
The location in the port of Szczecin provides direct access to international waterways.
Founding of TELEYARD SP. z o.o.
In 2015, the group of companies expanded with TELEYARD SP. z o.o. based in Szczecin. Its main point of activity is the creation of customized projects of oversized dimensions and weight.
The new plant in Skolwin was specifically built and equipped for such requirements.
